FINAL CLOSE OF SIGNAL ALPHA II FUND AT EUR 900MN

FIRSTavenue is pleased to have acted as global placement agent for the Signal Alpha II Fund (the “Fund”) which held a final closing at ca. EUR 900 million. We congratulate Signal Capital Partners (“Signal”) for achieving this strong and successful result.

The Fund surpassed its target of EUR 850 million and was backed by both existing and new institutional investors across EMEA and North America.

The Fund focuses on asset-backed stressed and distressed capital structures in Europe across the real estate and corporate markets, with its average investment size typically between EUR 20-70 million. The Fund seeks to deploy capital across a range of mainly private situations on an opportunistic, bottom-up, fundamental basis.

The successful fundraise caps a period of significant growth for Signal since it was launched in 2015 by Elad Shraga, Amit Jain and Gad Caspy, a team of experienced special situations investors who previously led similar businesses at Deutsche Bank. Signal now has total assets under management of EUR 1.7 billion.
