Michael Dunham Joins FIRSTavenue as Partner in New York Office

NEW YORK, 13 March 2025—FIRSTavenue, a leading global independent placement and advisory firm, announced today that veteran industry professional Michael Dunham has joined the firm as a Partner in it’s New York City office.

Mr. Dunham brings decades of private markets expertise to FIRSTavenue, where he will focus on distribution. He was most recently a Partner at Mercury Capital Advisors, a leading global private fund and investment advisory firm. Prior to Mercury, he spent seventeen years as a Partner at Pinnacle Trust Partners, an independent placement and advisory firm for alternative investments. Previously, Mr. Dunham was a Senior Vice President at Trust Company of the West (TCW), a $197 billion asset management firm based in Los Angeles, CA, where he was responsible for marketing all investment products to insurance companies and other financial institutions. Earlier in his career, he worked in institutional sales at JP Morgan Securities and UBS Securities in New York.
