FIRSTavenue supports Vision Blue Resources in their $650 million fundraise

May 02, 2023 - FIRSTavenue, a leading global private funds placement agent and investment advisory firm specialising in real assets, private credit, private equity and associated capital solutions, would like to congratulate Vision Blue Resources, the energy transition focused metals and mining investment firm, on the final close of its first fund at more than $650 million.

The fund, which received strong support from specialist mining, private and large institutional investors, had an initial target of $500 million for a strategy that seeks to secure minority stakes in companies with well defined, advanced and scalable assets, and strong and committed management teams.

Vision Blue Resources, which was launched in 2021 by Sir Mick Davis, looks to support companies that will help drive the global transition to clean energy. Since inception, the firm has grown its portfolio to five strategic investments in commodities firms that are involved in graphite, vanadium, silicon metal, tin and rare earths, which are set to benefit from rapidly growing demand for electric vehicles, energy storage and wind and solar infrastructure.
