Barry Wilson joins FIRSTavenue’s North American private credit team

NEW YORK; April 27, 2023 – FIRSTavenue, a leading global private funds placement agent and investment advisory firm specialising in private credit, real assets, private equity and associated capital solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Wilson as Managing Director in the North American sales team.

Barry will be focused on the distribution of FIRSTavenue’s global private credit mandates to North American institutional investors and consultants, further strengthening the firms sales team.

Barry brings over 25 years of experience in both institutional marketing and portfolio management across private debt. He joins FIRSTavenue from Wilson Capital Advisors - a fund advisory and capital formation firm focused on private credit and direct lending strategies. Prior to that, Barry was a Senior Vice President at Antares Capital, where he led marketing efforts in North America. Barry has held various portfolio management, trading and risk positions with Centre Pacific, PIMCO, and Coast Asset Management. He is a money-center trained banker having completed his bank training with a predecessor bank of JP Morgan.
